Concern about maintaining military hegemony. The country that spends more with military in the world. In the cold war was understandable. But, and now? The nations should be concern about having a friendly relationship, and not who is the most militarily powerful. Even because one country depends of the other, there is an economic interdependence between nations. Military exercises in Alaska against missile attack! Mistrust? The USSR no longer exists.
